Energy procurement (7 TWh/a Electricity, 2 TWh/a Natural Gas)
Legal energy procedures
Energy taxes
Energy policy
Main responsibilities:
Leading an international team of energy experts
Energy procurement for sites in D, A, F, I, H, CH, PL, Scandinavia
Cost reduction by introduction of international energy procurement
Introduction of Energy Portfolio Management in Germany, France, South and North America
Contracts for access and use of grids
Optimization of production processes to minimize energy costs
Restructuring of the company to save energy taxes
Points of law for grid connections and remuneration for fed in energy from cogeneration plants
Energy taxes and other duties on energy
Representing the company at public authorities and political institutions in energy procedures
Member of various energy lobby groups
14 years as Managing Agent at (another) German Dax-Company
